They Give Our Lives For Us

Many people dont realize that everything we have today was fought for. All the rights we have, the land, and even the food we eat. All these things we take for granted have a lot of blood shed behind them in history. Brave men, and women, fought to give us the rights we have so we could live better lives than they did. These brave men and women wanted us to live in a better world. They dreamed of a world where the word war sparlked a memory in history. A world where every human could be treated equally without discrimination. These men and women who fought to give us these commodaties have a certain name. The name for these brave hereo's is a Soldier.

Today with the deepist of my regret three Canadian Soldiers were killed by a road side bomb in Afghanistan. This brings the Candian death toll in the region to 111 since the offensive started. Out of respect for these 111 hero's I will not talk politics in this blog, nor will i start pointing fingures. Instead I will talk about why we must support these men and women, even if you dont support the wars their fighting. Bare in mind all opinions in this blog are solely mine. Warrent Officer Brown, Corporal O'Quinn, and Corporal Oliver died giving their life to make others lives better.

Simply said and simply put Soldiers die to defend the country they fight for. Soldiers fight to give their citizens a better life. Soldiers go through hard training to be ready to defend everyone. Soldiers give up their freedom to give you an oppertunity to have freedom. Soldiers are the ones who fought for the right for me to be posting this. The world is not as black and white as many may believe it is but there is always good and evil. In stories the good must fight and die to stop the evil from taking country. This can be reflected in today's Candian Soldiers. Canadian soldiers are in Afghanistan to defend the rights of all Afghan citizens and defeat the evil that has oppressed them for so long. The topic of how the evil was created is not to be disscussed today.

Imagine a day in a soldiers shoes for just a moment. When a soldier trains he gets 3 hours of sleep at night, IF LUCKY. Their meals are shortened and nothing close to what we get to eat in the cozyness of our homes. Somtimes they wonder if they will get there next meal. There nights are brutal, cold, and somtimes to hot. They have to put up with the elements of nature while we have to put up with the comfort of our homes. A Soldier may work up to a week straight with little or no rest at all. They have to constantly push their body's to the limit so they can perform the task at hand effectivly. Not sure if I got the message accross but as you can see Soldiers put up with a lot to defend you.

Take a moment today and think about what these brave man and women do for you. If you pray than pray for them. If your not religous than you can do other things. If you see a soldier on the street simply take 2 seconds and thank him for his service. Remember you dont have to support the wars they fight, after all they give us the freedom to choose what to support. But the least you can do is support them soldiers.

Why dont We Get Along

Well to start off I dont have much time today so ill try my best to keep this blog post short.

Everywhere you look theirs people arguing, fighting, and simply conflicting with each other. People are racist towards other races, and don't get along with others. It seems in the society we live in today people always try to find the simplest reason to start a conflict with one another. The question I want to ask today is :

Is it human nature to communicate by means of conflict with one another?

This question is very open and can be answered in a variety of answers. When it comes to right and wrong there is none for this question, its a matter of opinion. Many people I know argue that its human nature to fight. They believe that humans want to shed blood and hurt each other. It comes down to another question; are we animals? That question is one that will be asked on a later date though. Well so here it goes; here is my opinion!

I personally believe its not human nature to start conflicts; but human emotion that starts them. Since the Birth of Christ humans have had periods of peace and periods of war. We've seen a population boom of billions and a loss of life in the millions during some wars. Since the birth of Christ its been proven that humans can live in peace with one another with periods of no war. We've seen our species communicate with each other to solve conflicts. History proves that you can solve a lot more problems by using the strength of vocals than the strength of weapons.

Conclusion is I cant formulate my opinion enough because I don't have enough time. But I believe you all get where im going with this. Feel free to formulate your own opinion and leave it in the comment box!

You Can Help ! Free Food :)

As many of you know were going through a world recession right now. Everyone from the richest bankers to the poorest farmers in Africa are feeling this. Many are having to tighten their belts and feel the hunger they have, for money that is. Its estimated that this financial crisis has wiped out 40% of the worlds wealth. Now that the rich are starving for money what happens to the poor? Do we forget the children in Africa who couldn't even feed them selves when our economies were strong? The answer to this is simple - NO! Being in a recession gives us all the more reason to help people in need all around the world!

I understand that everyones belts are tight, including mine. Many of us are struggling to pay bills, and even buy our selves a decent meal everyday. I would never ask anyone to donate when it would harm them. Everyone must look after themselves before caring upon others. But you know what I'm going to tell everyone a way to donate food to the poor and not even spend a penny! Actually thats a lie, you'll probaly have to spend some money on pain medication because after you hear about this you'll be beating your self up; its that amazing.

I stumbled upon Free Rice while I was at my friends house. Being curious I peaked over on their computer and was wondering what they were up to. I noticed them answering random questions and stumbled upon asking them. To my discovery Free Rice is actually free rice. Free Rice is a website dedicated on helping end world hunger. All you have to do on your part is go to the website and answer quiz questions for fun. You'll have a range of topics to choose from. The goal is to get as many answers as correct. There is no end game limit, you can go on for as long as you want. For every answer that you answer correctly you donate 10 grains of rice. 10 grains of rice seems small but as you answer more questions it adds up and eventually you can have enough to feed a family. One can participate in this site as much as they please.

So whats stopping you? Go on http://www.freerice.com/ right now and participate!
Ill leave you all with a quote which reflects the topic at hand
